How to practice meditation?
1. Open the YiOra app on your Apple Watch
2. Select your desired meditation type (breathing, meditation, or flow) from the main menu
3. Adjust meditation duration and other settings as needed
4. Tap the "Start" button
5. Follow the breathing animation and instructions on the screen
6. After completion, the app will display your meditation results and HRV changes (if enabled)
How to measure my HRV?
1. Make sure the "Measure HRV" option is enabled in settings
2. Before starting meditation, the app will first measure your baseline HRV
3. After meditation, the app will measure HRV again and show the changes
Note: To ensure accurate measurement, make sure your Apple Watch is worn snugly and properly positioned
How to change breathing frequency?
1. Go to app settings
2. Adjust the "Inhale Time" and "Exhale Time" sliders
3. The system will automatically adjust the breathing animation rhythm based on your settings
Frequently Asked Questions
Why can't the app measure my HRV?
Possible reasons:
- Apple Watch is not worn tightly enough or is positioned incorrectly
- App has not been granted permission to access health data
- Low battery on Apple Watch
- Excessive physical activity affecting heart rate sensor accuracy
Solutions:
- Ensure the watch fits snugly against your wrist
- Check permissions in "Settings → Privacy → Health" on your Apple Watch
- Make sure your Apple Watch has sufficient battery
- Stay still during measurement and avoid excessive movement
Why does background music stop after some time?
This may be due to Apple Watch resource management mechanisms. Solutions:
- Lower the volume or choose smaller audio files in settings
- Ensure your Apple Watch has enough available storage space
- Try restarting your Apple Watch
- The latest version has converted meditation sessions to workout activities, which can extend background audio playback time
How to sync meditation records to the Health app?
1. Go to app settings
2. Enable the "Sync to Health App" option
3. Make sure you've granted YiOra write permission in "Settings → Privacy → Health" on your Apple Watch
4. After completing meditation, data will be automatically recorded in the "Mindful Minutes" category in the Health app
Can I customize meditation sounds?
Currently, YiOra offers various preset meditation background sounds. In settings, you can:
- Choose different types of white noise (nature, ocean, spiritual, etc.)
- Adjust volume
- Select different types of notification sounds
We plan to add more customization options in future versions.
